More For Your Money

You just gotta love the internet....

Checking out your favourite authors website is deffinately worthwhile these days, there seems to be just tons of lovely stuff on them. Not just information on release dates etc but really good stuff. Extra stories for free, between the books chronicles, even diaries of characters. There's all that and more. I've been browsing, and I am a happy lady.

Hey sweetie! Missed you. I just finished Stephen King's latest to come out in paperback. His writing always fascinates me. He woould have to go a long ways to beat "The Stand" but "Lisey's Story" held my interest and gave me a couple of nights where I stayed up too late reading just one more chapter. I'd give it a seven.

Al - I do have Lisey, though I havent got around to reading it yet...I'm pretty hooked on vampires at the moment. As well as the Amazons book I'm reading, I'm also reading A painted Veil by Somerset Maugham, which is pretty good so far.

Stacy - Yeah.. I just love author sites, all the freebie stories and all the extra bits are fantastic.

Oh, look! A comment left in Portuguese! I understand a little of it, but not all of it! Unfortunately, I'm not yet fluent in Portuguese, but if my girlfriend has any say in it, I'm sure that won't be lacking for very long. :P

I think authors' websites are absolutely cool! Some give you insights into how they work. Others acutally provide you with their own writing instruction.

I went rather book crazy during my girlfriend's recent visit from Portugal, and I'll be blogging about it soon.
